Chairman of the Commission for Women Youth and Families Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) Istibsyaroh reportedly met with Israeli President Reuven Rivlin. MUI also heard it and hope it is a hoax news.

"Friends in the MUI laments that it's true. But now the season hoax, hopefully I wish it was a hoax, because the capacity of Mrs. Istibsyaroh is Chairman of the MUI," said Chairman of the Law Commission of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) Center HM Baharun when contacted by AFP , Friday (01/20/2017).
Baharun not hear it through Istibsyaroh directly, but rather from social media. When properly Istibsyaroh been to Israel to meet President Rivlin, of course it's a step that can not be justified by the MUI.
"If it is true, this fact can not be justified. As one of the MUI, he is not allowed to meet officials from countries that oppress the Palestinian people," said Baharun.
He stated MUI attitude towards Israel in line with Indonesia's attitude toward Israel. Indonesia and MUI support the independence of Palestine and condemned Israel's actions. He ensures Istibsyaroh visit had nothing to do with the MUI.
"I do not know the personal invitation or not. Obviously, MUI no connection with his visit to Israel," said Baharun.
Reporting from the Israeli Ministries of Foreign Affairs, the meeting took place on Wednesday (18/1 /) ago. Istibsyaroh visit Israel at the initiative of the Australia / Israel and Jewish Affairs Council (AIJAC).
Rivlin, in a statement through his spokesman, warmly received the delegation it. He explained to Istibsyaroh that democracy in Israel is not just for Jews, but for everyone.
"We have no war with Islam. Unfortunately, there are people who reject the idea of the State of Israel itself, such as Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas, loudly and clearly that there is no way to recognize Israel, from the point of Pan-Islamism," said Rivlin.
He tried to convince, "I assure you in Jerusalem, the city of God, everyone can worship according to his belief, and Israel will continue to maintain trust. No matter what anybody says propaganda anti-Israel. Propaganda was just coming to provoke the Islamic world against Israel , "he said.
"We believe in Israel is a democratic state and a Jewish state, not a democracy for Jews, but democracy for everyone," said Rivlin.
Istibsyaroh states this is an honor for him to be present in Israel. They both talked about the importance dialogue religion and cultural
