Fast Trains of Jakarta-Bandung


Fast train project along the Jakarta-Bandung 142 km already has developed quite well. This was revealed by the President Director of PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Perbowo Bintang.

"We have soil test (test soil) over 500 points from 2,000 points of construction," said Bintang at the Palace Complex, Jakarta, Wednesday (01/25/2017).

Bintang said that until now PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) had built along the 26 km. In fact, from the initial submission of a construction permit, only 5 km approved. "That (position) in the inside Walini of PTPN VIII," he explained.

PT KCIC is a joint venture between China Railway International Co. Ltd with PT Pilar Sinergi which therein PT Adhi Karya, PT Wijaya Karya, PT Kereta Api Indonesia, PT Jasa Marga and PT Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN) VIII.

Bintang mentioned, the construction along the 26 km on the fast train project Jakarta-Bandung until today still use their own capital. Due to, loan from the China Development Bank (CDB) has not yet approved or still in financial close process.

"We used our own equity first, Rp 1.2 trillion plus to Rp 1.2 trillion more, so Rp 2.4 trillion for the 26 km first," he explained.

Fast train project along the Jakarta-Bandung 142 km will start construction of Halim Perdanakusuma in East Jakarta to Tegalluar in Bandung.

Fast train is going through four stations that are Halim, Karawang, Walini and Tegalluar. The project is targeted to be operated by 2019.
