Navy captures one unit of a smuggler of illegal migrant
workers from Malaysia in the waters of Tanjung Siapi-fire, Asahan, North
Sumatra (North Sumatra). During examination, one of the 55 illegal migrants was
found keeping methamphetamine in his underwear.

"Migrant worker of the drug carrier initials AH, a
resident of Bireuen. Narcotics kind of gross weight 520 grams of
methamphetamine," said Commander Lanal Tanjungbalai Asahan Marine Lt. Col.
(P) Bagus Badari, Saturday (01/28/2017).
The arrest occurred on Friday (27/1) at around 03:30 am. At
that time, officers get information from the community about migrant workers smuggler
ship who were heading Tanjungbalai TKI. In the patrol, the officers were arresting
the smuggler.

"Ship (smuggler) will be heading to Tanjungbalai. In
the examination, there were 3 crew and 55 migrant workers with details of 43
men and 12 women," said Bagus.
Officers who captured them then takes them to Mako Lanal
Tanjungbalai Asahan. When checked, one of the workers who had the initials AH
caught carrying drugs with a gross weight of 520 grams. Those goods are stored

Bagus said the illegal migrants were caught carrying drugs
were then handed over to the local police for further processing. Then for
